Abstract:

In this talk, we will explore the dynamic and often challenging space where the fast-evolving field of artificial intelligence (AI) meets the entrepreneurial spirit. In a world where AI technologies are reshaping industries, creating new markets, and altering societal norms, entrepreneurs are at the forefront, navigating these changes to innovate, disrupt, and build the future. This talk aims to delve into how entrepreneurs can maintain a healthy skepticism towards the hype surrounding AI, critically assess the ethical implications of their ventures, and ensure that their innovations contribute positively to society.
The session will be divided into four different sections.

The session will incorporate case studies, interactive discussions, and Q&A segments to engage the audience and foster a deeper understanding of the complexities at the intersection of entrepreneurship and AI.

Speaker Profile:

Omkar Patil is an AI researcher with a passion for applying cutting-edge technologies to tackle real-world problems. He is currently working as Chief Technology Officer of Pienomial Inc [https://pienomial.com] and Managing Director of Wynum Automation Services Private Limited [https://www.wynum.com/]. An alumnus of IIT Delhi, Omkar utilizes his extensive technical experience to build sustainable solutions with the potential to transform industries and society. His areas of expertise include Graph Neural Networks and Generative Artificial Intelligence. Currently, Omkar is involved in constructing an information analysis and decision support platform, providing real-time insights, trends, and recommendations to professionals in the biopharmaceutical industry. Through his contributions, Omkar has consistently pushed the boundaries of AI through over 4 patents in the last 3 years, in order to foster a more intelligent and interconnected world.
