IIT Hyderabad started an interdisciplinary PhD in artificial intelligence, machine learning and information theory in the month of April 2021. This program is being coordinated by the Center for Interdisciplinary Programs(CIP). It aims at helping students explore the interface of various science and engineering disciplines. Design and analysis of composite materials and structures using ML algorithms, algebraic methods of coding and application of ML for the next generation of smart lasers are some of the topics in this program.
